His Royal Highness Prince Muqrin bin Abdul Aziz, chief of general intelligence asserted that what has been done by government agencies in the area of e-government comes a reality witnessed by the public, and what has been achieved is a source of pride for all, and we look forward to further progress until reaching the electronic use anywhere, anytime, HRH stressed that what was at a conference of e-government is something beautiful and remarkable progress since its inception and said we have seen a small part of electronic transactions in the exhibition accompanying the conference and the facilities provided by government agencies to a citizen. Prince Muqrin stressed that the concept of e-government is the mysteries of time and place to have complete usage of e-Government, and about the slowdown in e-government service delivery and growth, His Highness said: that what we saw today at the conference is something delightful and beautiful. He said: "I am completely satisfied about this conference because I saw something rejoice and delight the heart regarding the development in e-government than the previous conference that I was not satisfied with. With regard to the speed of implementation and comprehensive e-government transactions the Prince noted that everything has a time and there is nothing could be done in a day and night. He said: the progress that has occurred is excellent so far.
On the other hand, HRH said: The Traffic Department does not only have Saher system, but also has other services with respect to e-government. He called the traffic department to show where cameras Saher are, in order to achieve security and safety of the citizen.
On the other hand HRH stressed that the communications services in general and Internet services in particular do not provide what is hoped. He demanded that the services provided should be in our ambitions and in real high-speed, stressing that there is other technologies in the transfer of the internet is not used so far, which include speeds, great for the transfer of information without interruption, demanding telecom operators to declare the true speeds that they are provide. The matter of the connection speed is very important issue in electronic transactions in the e-government, and said: It is true that the Kingdom is considered as s subcontinent, but this does not mean that we do not aspire for the best always.
During the fifth meeting of the Second National Conference on e-government transactions in the second day chaired by HRH, Prince Muqrin bin Abdul Aziz stated that He was pleased by His participation in such an event that He has already participated in the first edition, pointing at the same time that the leadership attaches great importance to the process of technical and waited by citizens and residents in all sectors, and electronic transactions are considered to be a national desire because of its importance in the economic and the achievement for the sake of the nation.
The head of general intelligence, said that this conference is an opportunity to view what has been accomplished and look at the developments and updates in this field, and we have started in achieving the most important development goals and to work together in order to reach the highest standards of privacy and security that insure providing e-government services, and the participation of a number of Ministers stresses the interest of the public sector. HRH called for cooperation in accordance with the royal vision to ensure the upgrading of property in this area.
