His Excellency the Chairman of the Shura Council, Dr. Saleh bin Abdullah bin Homaid, received today in his office at the premises of the Council, his royal highness prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz the President of the GIP, just before his highness attended the deliberations of the 65th ordinary session of the current Council which is in its fourth year.
The Chairman of the Council welcomed, at the beginning of the meeting, his royal highness and those accompanying him including officials and advisors, pointing out that his highness’s presence at the Council comes within the framework of cooperation, and complementary efforts, between the Council on one hand, and their royal highnesses, excellencies, and high ranking officials, on the other, all of which will serve the interest of the country and its citizens.
The meeting was attended by his highness prince Faisal bin Abdullah bin Mohammad, Assistant to the President, his royal highness prince Abdulaziz bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, also assistant to the President, and a number of high ranking officials at the GIP.
Attending the occasion also was his Excellency Deputy Chairman of the Shura Council, Dr. Bandar bin Mohammad Hajjar, his Excellency the Assistant to the Chairman Dr. Abdurrahman bin Abdullah Albarrak, his Excellency the Secretary General of the Council Dr. Mohammad bin Abdullah Alghamdi, and a number of high ranking officials of the Council.
After the reception, his royal highness prince Muqrin, accompanied by his Excellency the Chairman of the Council, headed for the hall where the sessions were being held to attend the deliberations of the 65th meeting of the Council in its fourth year.
